this is gonna sound awful and I apologise but I had the silver cup exacta last year. greatest punting day of my life, if I live to be 200, tho It's ruined betting for me a bit. In betfred now going after the bronze cup forecast.
Red...sounds exactly what I'm after...hope I don't start biting people or wetting myself!...a necessary experiment nevertheless!
Speaking of bad names,I thought that of Mince in the first until Iread it's pedigree...rather amusing actually!
Oddy, if a bookie chappie can’t make money on those 2 ‘Cup’ races tomorrow then they are either very unlucky or very stupid. Must be a license to print money. Hope I’m fortunate enough to relieve them of a few schillings though.
I must be being thick Dexter (or drinking the wrong stuff) - by Mediciean out of Strut???? Maybe "strutting around like a mincing queen?" Nothing wrong with the price tho <oK>
Dan, contrary to Garys opinion I have a voice and not under the thumb , however, i do have a life that allows me to do other things apart from horse racing, unlike Gary . If im around and not got other things planned (hectic social calendar) i would love to be given first refusal on a ticket for Wetherby. Let me know the details and I will make every effort to be there.
Nass 2.25 Lingfield SYNFONICA E.W 9-1 Again a weak looking maiden and 9-1 seems a fair E.W price for this unraced Richard Hannon juvenile. Only a cheap purchase but the pedigree isn't all that bad and hopefully will run a nice race
Oddy ...maybe I'm being over (anal)ytical with my crypic solution. The Medici's were an Italian aristocratic family who produced popes and were great supporters of the arts and some old the classic masters through the middle ages...nuff said!..Strut as,you suggest is a trait of the limp wristed...hence Mince. Thats my take on it and I'm sticking to it!...If I bump into Lady Rothschild I shall ask for a full explanation...
Wayward: Oh no you don't after all that cricket there is no way you will be allowed by her indoors out to play on a Saturday Would be good to see you there mind fella
I was looking at Stickleback in the first at Lingfield but, after having done her best work late on over 8F on debut, I find it a little fishy that she is now dropped back to 7F. Perhaps the trainer is trying to cod us along, maybe she belongs on a far loftier perch
Right guys, i have been given a challenge by GDC to find something in the 3.55 Ayr and the 6.00 Newbury so here goes. 3.55 Ayr - Desert Creek 33/1 EW foremerly with SMS, since transferring he has hardly set the world on fire, however, at his best is well in at the weights, going will suit the more juice the better and gets a decent draw. 6.00 Newbury - Pittodrie Star 25/1 EW well weighted, ground to suit, stable and jockey combination bang in form makes him a cracking EW shout for me
