Every single Council leader and his crew have ruined Swansea over the decades. They have between them Ruined the once beautiful castle gardens into a concrete Monstrosity, Got rid of the Mumbles train that people from all over the world would come and see, The kingsway has been changed i dont know how many times, The slip as a kid had wonderful attractions on the beach, The iconic slip bridge taken away and dumped....And over different eras they have made some council estates no go areas like Townhill/Mayhill, Blaenymaes/Portmead and now Clase which has a worse drug epidemic than Cuba,,,,And no disrespect to those who live on those estate as the vast majority are decent people let down by the moron gangs and Drug pushers. The police are so short staffed that they dont have time to investigate house Burglaries and car theft. Swansea is no different to any other city but our Councils over many decade have not done Swansea any favours with their planning either.......
One point of order , the council didn't get rid of the mumbles train it was SWT who as the owners decided that it had outlived its useful ness and wasn't cost effective as double deckers, how insightful that decision was
