Usually given in the Sunday papers.

I notice the two RL clubs no longer do this either.

I'm sure there is some financial benefit in obscuring your attendances.

It won't be long before Steve Jordan is introducing the crowd to the players. It might be quicker.
.."Good afternoon players. Over in the East Stand, there is Bill, Steve, Tony and Jimmy and a couple of his mates..."

I know a long term fan, 20 years, who isn't going this season, because he 'can't justify paying the monthly increase...'
Anyone wishing to learn how to £uck-up a premier league football club should enrol to the 'Allam School of Mismanagement'

I'm not offended. Sir Cheshire Ben supports the team but doesn't attend because of the Allams. When they've gone he'll come back. He hasn't labelled me anything because I continued to attend after he stopped going.

Neither have I suffered constant abuse for going, neither has City Man or any of the other regular contributors who still attend. That might be because we don't insult the "usual suspects" (whatever that means) about not attending.

I strongly suspect everyone on here supports City, it's just simply under the current owners a number have become disenchanted and have chosen to either not go, or go to away matches only. Its every supporters decision what they decide what to do, however I'm 100% confident that attendances will improve significantly once the Allams are gone. That said it's going to be a long haul as many appear to have found other interests on a Saturday over recent years.

    My bad

"UEFA Euro 1996 was a more positive experience for both Shearer and England. With England not required to qualify as hosts, Shearer had not scored in 12 games in the 21 months prior,[16] and even his overall goalscoring record for England did not look too impressive so far, with five goals in 23 games"

It's all about morals, principles and opinions. Where you draw your line in the sand and how easily that line is brushed away. It is much easier to give up when the owners are pettty, vindictive childish ****s though.

    Is it?

    For how many?

Let's agree we have lost 10,000 off our gate.

How many of those have just sacked it off cos we're no longer in the PL?

I'm talking real world, not this board

I agree, every team gets more supporters when they are doing well and winning. Always has been like that and always will, but still comes under the umbrella of morals, principals and opinions.

    That's fine

From anecdotal experience in the real world, I've yet to meet a lapsed attender who has blamed his own fickleness rather than the the lack of PL football.

Similarly, noble moral high ground types who no longer attend seem to also assume other non attenders are also moral high ground types.

Who knows? It's impossible to second guess. That said when we moved to the KCOM we were in a lower division and drawing crowds of well in excess of what we are now in The Championship.

Accepting your figure of 10,000, I guess 80% of them have been lost due to the owners.

To say the Allams have screwed up their fan base and key stakeholders would be the understatement of the year!

I don't think its that simple. Some will have left the season we got relegated. Some will have given it another season to see how we got on. Others may have given it two seasons. There may be others who will give it another season to see if anything changes and we look like getting promoted in the near future.

The damage done to Hull City AFC by the Allams' spite and incompetence is immense and it will take years to repair it.

Hull City's attendance is built on lots of smaller communities. The Allams over the years have destroyed that. First by the evictions, then the membership scheme and lastly, their failure to build a team capable of remaining in the Premier League.

There is not one poster on here that I am aware of who does not 100% agree that the Allams incompetence and spite have massively damaged the club.

No one has, is or will ever dispute that I don't think.

You (or anyone else) is pushing through an open door with that argument.

    It's a closed discussion now.

We have lost 10,000 off our gate, no matter the division. The premier league makes up the difference from a regular fluctuating 16-20k and a packed stadium.

So, what was it? For some reason the only crowds not shown were ours and Huddersfield’s.

Don’t think price plays a part in most cases. There would be plenty of people who could find the money if we were playing Man Utd, Man City, Liverpool etc...Other clubs are more expensive than ours and get larger crowds.

How tall were the construction team on 747s then? 10’6”?

Never realised sports cars were built by vertically challenged people either.
