Not a good half, but with the red there's real chance we can get the 3 points. Show us what you've got up your sleeve Ralph.
Phew! Survived until half time. At this rate, we need at least three more red cards for Brighton for us to win this. Heavens, we look ponderous when we have the ball.
I'm assuming the Andone challenge was a shocker given how quick the red card came out. That goal had "disallowed" written all over it by the body language of the players. Enjoyed mocking the Brighton fans though.
Ever since we started playing two up front, (was it Bournemouth home last year?) we just haven't been very good. Ings is fine up front by himself, and Adams has done nothing. Redmond can't be relied on like this; stick Boufal or Djenepo on.
To be fair he has been good today. Got the main decision correct and I haven't really disagreed with any of his decisions.
Just to show Billy that i'm not just a blind, happy clapping sandal wearer, but a balanced poster who tells things as I see them.....that first half was somewhat underwhelming. Have to try and control the midfield in the second half, the Pierre, Romeu, JWP axis is stragely subdued today. Oh and the Brighton fans booing Yan are morons, the Romanian thug tried to snap his leg in two...
Good decision for the red card, and correctly overturned goal by VAR. we have played very averagely and Brighton well. Even down to ten men they look equal to us.
Just a dreadful performance so far, we are lucky they have gone down to ten. That was an awful, awful challenge. Could have been a career ender for Valery
Is Shane Long injured? He was playing well and scoring every other game towards the end of last season? Don't think Che should be keeping him out of the team playing like this.
We could repeat what we did vs Liverpool and bring on Djenepo as a very attacking LBW. Tuck Danso inside (technically as a third CB, but in reality more as cover for Djenepo), and bring off Romeu. No real need for him vs 10 men (especially with us having three CBs on the pitch).
