FWIW, I think United should do the right thing and save Bury. We used to play reserve games at Gigg Lane occasionally ffs, help them out. It's shameful we haven't.

I'd agree to buying bury out if I was a rich club, BUT...only if the current owner walks away, and I would only pay him what he is rightfully owed and i would want proof it came out of his pocket. I wouldn't want another club to buy them out with him still in place.

I reckon Gary Neville would have come up with something for Bury if he didn’t own Salford.

Both sets of United/City owners are utter ****s and I wouldn’t expect them to give a penny to Bury. Having said that, under their current owner I don’t blame them, he seems like a ****ing div.

 

The guy who owns Bury bought the club for a quid. He’s had multiple offers to get him out of the deal and turned them all down. Can’t help but feeling he’s doing a ****’s land deal although I don’t know whether his £1 purchase got him the freehold for the ground. Maybe not. Very sad.
