Car allowance has been increased quite considerably... looked over my contract, all it says is car must be 5 years old maximum, and not a daft colour, or words to that effect. I’ve been to Hyundai and looked at an i30 N Performance and I’m tempted as ****... wondering if it’s a bit chavvy.
Used to have the regular i30 which was a dream for the price. Never let me down. The new thing has had good reviews but seemed a lot for the dough but probably some good lease deals now it’s not so new. Don’t think it’s too chavvy. Might make you look like an Uber driver if it’s in white. Ended up getting the new shape Mx5 which I’d recommend if you don’t need 4 seats.
Had a look at the iLoad when I was looking for a van. They are really well spec’d for the dollar. Also tempted to get a Santa Fe when I’m next in the market for a 4x4. I’ve always had German cars VW / Audi / BMW. But Hyundai have got a deservedly good rep.
Defo not an Uber Driver’s car. please log in to view this image I also looked at the Civic Type R GT but despite its staggering performance I can’t get over the fact it looks like a smashed up Prius.
That’s like a sporty spec i30 270-odd hp. I just like how it looks, the motorsport fanboy in me is itching to get something like that. My Mrs will make sure it doesn’t happen.
Every car review points to the Golf R but if I’m looking at them then I might just wait for the new Focus RS (I might still do that anyway) which will wipe the floor with anything in it’s class. There’s just something about this one I like.
Yeah that’s out of the question now, I can’t look at it without thinking Matth was lead designer on it.
Golf R is a beast. Think @Tobes had one ? But yeah the Focus RS is basically a track car. Did I ever tell you about that time I remapped a 320d ?
Yeah I remember Tobes saying he had one. Cars in Focus RS bracket are Mercedes A45 GLA 45, Audi RS3, BMW M140i, Golf R and none of them will get anywhere near the new RS. It’s gonna be a monster with a 400hp hybrid engine, pissing in the faces of tree hugging hippies.
Yeah I had one, 310 bhp and 4 wheel drive, an absolute screamer when you unleashed it, but in eco mode and driven normally just a normal 5 dr everyday runabout. Great car, handling wise not much can even get close.
One of my mates has a lego car, the Clio rs200 ****ing loved it, **** having one though. It's a go kart with a roof,
