Or, perhaps just not being serious? The avatar and the username being just two clues that should have given it away?

Elaborate on how I am contradicting myself please, enlighten me.

    I stated two points.

    1. Many Metal enthusiasts (including very good friends of mine) insist that I'm a floss because I don't get their taste in music. A sentiment that has already been echoed on this particular thread already. Many of them state that all other forms of music is not music. It's their opinion and I'm not prejudice so if I ever meet one, I wouldn't automatically think he/she was a tool .

    2. I will only judge INDIVIDUALS if their music preference directly affects their behaviour in society. You have clearly misinterpreted this as me thinking skinheads still go round in skinny jeans and Doc Martens kicking lumps out of everyone in sight. For example, I was at a tram stop in Manchester a few years back and a group of teenage thugs were shouting constant abuse at some kid with long hair and a Nirvana T-shirt on. The kid looked terrified and if my psychopathic nut-case friend wasn't with me, and hadn't went over and told them all he would make mincemeat out of them all if they didn't stop, the whole thing could have got out of hand. This abuse was a direct result of these thugs having their own music preferences (and possibly hair preferences), nothing more. Therefore I judged them to be idiots.

    Is that clear now?

Have you heard Sylosis before Tash? Similar mould to Trivium, but a lot better in my opinion. Shame they're from Reading!

Don't see the link between music and behaviour in society to be honest.

Other than the fact that heavy rock fans never wash, can't string a sentence together and hang around street corenrs looking like they've just scored enough smack to put a baby elephant on mars there's no link at all.
