Not to rub your noses in it, but £300k or whatever he cost us is an absolute steal. When he first arrived I thought he was just an attacking midfielder, but as it turns out he wins the ball back too. The boy will go far. It is no surprise he is now in the Nigeria squad.

Glad you're not rubbing our noses in it. Roland's Bargain Basement aims to please.

Why do you keep on posting on here if you are not rubbing our noses in it? I am really happy with our midfield options. Williams, Oztumer, Gallagher, Kayal, Field, Cullen, Pratley. Plus youngsters like Lapslie and Morgan. We are well served in that area. So we are not missing Aribo.

Read my post. Because I didn't realise the boy was as good defensively as well as attacking. You honestly think that my goal in life is to noise up people on a Charlton board? And I don't " keep on posting here". If anything, my post was a compliment. Who the **** pished in your corn flakes today?

Our owner's stupidity is a sore point. If you think Aribo is a steal, what about Gomez to Liverpool for 3.5m, Konsa to Brentford for £2m or Pope to Burnley for£850,000.

To be honest, I didn't realise that they had been at Charlton. So what exactly is your owner's end game? Is he trying to sell it just now?

He claims he's been trying to sell for two years, but potential buyers find him impossible to deal with, it seems he keeps moving the goalposts. So, IMO he is lying about it, as he lies about a lot of things. His endgame? One theory is that he's after the land, another is that he sees himself as a pioneer who can prove his cleverness by breaking even in a league where most teams are losing money. He has compared himself to Alan Turing. Who knows? He hasn't been to a game for four years.

I find your posts smug, look what a bargain we have got. You say you are not rubbing our noses in it but that is exactly what you are doing.

No I am not. Just because you think I am doesn't make it true.
Comparing himself to Alan Turing is a strange one. Is he saying he is gay or going to be murdered/commit suicide?

He's saying he's an unappreciated genius. Jim White on Talksport is up his arse, and allows him to spout his lies now and then. He's always the victim.

i think you got a great bargain at £350k. he's worth 10 times that already. but it has to be said - we have missed him because he was part of a successful team here, but not as much as i thought. by the looks of things, we've replaced him with better or similar going by our results.

it will be a shame to look back on the career he could of had instead of the one he's picked. playing in front of 9000 at kilmarnock is lower than the expectations we had for him. but as it stands, he'll never be as good as he could have been as he's only tested 4 games a year up there.

He played against Legia Warsaw last night, which is better than playing against Brentford, but each to their own. You'll know best.

The Brentford game will have a cracking atmosphere on Saturday, just as the Forest game did on Wednesday.
Not true. The Gers could only manage an injury time winner against The Mighty Killie.

They are a well-run club. Took Konsa off us for £2m, sold him for £12m a year later to Villa. You see what I mean about a sore point?

Fair point, but with me being a Rangers fan who were put down to the bottom tier and people to think I am taking the piss, is quite frankly, ****ing bizarre.

Personally I still haven't forgiven Rangers for buying Gordon Smith for £65,000. Or even Tommy McLean for similar.<wah>
