No disrespect mate, and good luck to people that do, but fook that. I just don't think you have the same amount of energy you had when you was younger, but at the same time you could argue the older you are the wiser you are in bringing them up, but only problem is it's not like being grandad and being able to give them back.
Come off it, Pix! It was savage with the way I shredded you. Remember my superb masturbating monkey jibe? That was the work of a genius and a mature wit. I wish someone would post a link to it, so newcomers to the board can enjoy it.
That’s exactly it. I can’t imagine the World without him in it. He’s given me a new lease on life, something more to live for.
I definitely feel the advantage being wiser having kids at an older age. I took loads of LSD and Shrooms in my 20's and 30's. That shaped who I am today, not sure I'd have done that if I had kids back then. Having my daughter at the time in my life I was at was perfect really. Best thing ever being a Dad.
Yeah most of my drug use was 16-22 and I had my boy when I was 24, always said I never wanted kids really young but if I hadn't had them by 30 I wouldn't have wanted them at all so was perfect timing for me really too.
You ought to borrow Comm's knife set, ready for when she brings the first boyfriend home, only for display purposes of course. When she invites the lad in, you can just sit there muttering under your breath, ocassionally turning to stare at the nice shiny knife display.
Yeah 24 is pretty young in my book. I did loads of travelling in my 20's and lived on the road working at festivals here when I wasn't travelling, it was a ****ing great lifestyle for me at the time. Would I have done it the same way if I'd of had kids back then ? I was a ****ing space cadet, so I'm gonna say no lol.
Yeah that's why I said really young and two of my mates from school were Dad's before 20 so never really felt that young to me I suppose lol. I've always wanted to do the travelling thing later in life and he'll be all grown up by the time I hit my 40s.
Yeah that's the flip side of having them young I don't think there's a right or wrong age tbh, having them is the best thing ever, so it changes your life whatever age you are.
We’re all different mate, and you’re obviously sound with it, but for me personally, the thought of having another kid at that age would bring me out in ****ing hives. **** that.
