i somehow feel i possess sufficient tolerance to a punch thrown by hendy the mma super champion to remain in tact, and then proceed to give you an absolute thrashing
Well we do have a high opinion of ourself don't we? It's people having a laugh on a message board FFS and has absolutely no bearing on their general intelligence. Don't forget your dummy now
m8 i couldnt even be arsed and in work and cant upload vids, its the most ridonkulas statement ive actually ever heard, esp when you train a certain arts it makes it even more laughable, no time from idiots who havent facts what they are spouting..
"oh only 12 ounce gloves" i would sincerely love to see you take a shot from a 12 ounce glove with the amount of tape and gauze regularly applied underneath. ****ing mma ***gots clueless.
I'm deadly serious. If i hit someone as lightly as some of these UFC types do, they'd just deck me, whereas in the UFC, they just seem to fall over, no matter how weak a punch or kick may be.
We did have a brief crossing of paths yesterday. This show is a good watch (make sure to see the other parts). I know its not 100% real, but the fake tag is also wrong, thats why i use the word scripted. Whilst punches are pulled it still hurts like hell!! I know from experience that it does not take a great impact to cause damage. I was sparring against a Black belt in Tang-Soo-Do (a korean martial art) when i got tagged on the nose. My eyes instantly started watering and i could not see a thing. Also i was sparing the black belt instructor in a form of MMA when i connected a spinning hook kick to his jaw, this guy is 5'10 and about 20 stone, his eyes glazed over and he staggered before having to take a break. This from a 5'8 12.5 stone 18yr old. It does not take much!! Boxing does not take skill!! I have fought in an open competition against a guy who was predominantly a boxer and i kicked the **** out of him, i won the bout by about 10 points and went on to the bronze. However, i came up against a Ju Jitzu fighter in a later bout and lost by 3 points. Waving your fists whilst walking in circles is easy, but MMA and UFC takes skill and precision to be able to learn the kicks, punches, holds and grapples.
Boxers are not camp unlike the lycra clad oiled up grapplers. I can`t help but think that Heavy Metal music and Wrestling are in bed together....a big gay pink bed.
Not according to the people from his club. He was ment to be the best there and was expected to medal. He was a little bigger than be and a year older so i did not have that advantage.
In fact there are plenty of wrestlers who wear more than boxers. The stereotype that they all wear lycra is bollocks! Also i think it might be good to point out that for a long time now WWE has not been known as a wrestling franchise, it is sports entertainment.
