Because he has a majority of 1 (actually he doesn’t, that included the DUP) and may think a good time to go is after delivering Brexit and before the nightmare of what we have done to ourselves starts to become too obvious to ignore.
Because they have a majority of 1 and if we leave with No Deal then it's going to be bumpy at the very least in the short term - so try and get a majority and 5 years now than have an election forced on them in the midst of **** happening.
Doesn't make any sense and won't happen, they will leave it a few months to see some results, and when all the scaremongering **** comes out to be lies, the Tories will get re-elected with a 100+ majority and Corbyn will be back to meeting the PLO as a back bench MP.
Bit puzzled by this early election talk. Will Boris get the required 2/3 of MPs in Parliament to approve a snap election? Only other way to have a snap election is to have a vote of no confidence, going by this article I've just read .... https://nortonview.wordpress.com/2016/10/08/repealing-the-fixed-term-parliaments-act/
Like May's last election, in reality it's unlikely an opposition will not vote for an election, would look very weak espcially after constantly calling for one. Possibly the only people who would oppose it are Change UK's (or whatever they're called) MPs (out of interest). I guess the only exeption to that would be if it was being clearly called to force through No Deal and parliment needed more time to stop it.
I beg to differ on who's responsibility it is for any potential nightmare we may have after we leave, from day one the remainers have been storing up problems for the UK with their refusal to accept the referendum result. P.S. Glad you are less pissed off about out us leaving the EU tell your friends. I've had a word with Boris who promises to let you back into the UK after your Holls seeing as you are a Leeds fan.
Any nightmare is the sole fault of remain, you blocked any deal, blocked everything, no deal is all your fault, suck it up you and the remain muppets, brought us here, you wanted this. Well you got it, so be happy.
I thought it was Boris and his mates not voting with the Conservative Leadership that blocked the deal option, silly me I must have been mistaken.
Actually might do a small tweak on this as the deal might not be dead. If it was a deal then I think in the end it would basically be May’s deal but with a time limit on the backstop (10 years say). I guess that would accomplish leaving on 31st and Boris as a Brexiteer might be able to get that through parliament.
