I'm just looking over the weekend fixtures for my accumulator. I always wait till 2:30pm on a Saturday afternoon though, as am always curious for line ups. But, these are the ones currently interesting me: Arsenal over B'burn (fans protesting before the game against the manager) Swansea over WBA M'boro over Palace Brighton over Leicester Sheff Weds over Yeovil (think their away curse will halt here) £20 brings in £2,262.33
Super, I can only say good luck again.......... If I were you I would wait for the US footy. The big problem with straight footy betting over here is even in a 2 horse race 3 results are possible. At least in NFL there are only 2. Hugely increases chances of winning.
To be honest H, I just like sitting in a pub on a Saturday afternoon watching Soccer Saturday whilst having a few sherbet's with some friends. I will also do my 12 game accumulator with a £1 stake in hope that I'll get that £75k!
I just think they have looked good, but without scoring. I think against WBA at the Lib they will fancy their chances and be up for it. But now I've said this, it won't happen.
Popping down to Crawley tomorrow to give Parky some stick and to watch Crawley knock in a hatful. Should be entertaining.
swansea are due a win played really well at gooners last saturday by people who went, could score more than 3 goals i rckon 4-1 sinclair 3
For those who like me enjoy a punt on the NFL one game has jumped out and hit me as a must play game on Sunday afternoon. I am going in now and will play the points down as I cant see the line staying where it is. Take the Colts at home + (yes plus) 2.5 vs Cleveland. OK the Colts are without Manning and got tonked by Houston away last week. Collins though is no mug back up and now at home seing the Colts as underdog is unbelievable. How Cleveland can be a fav on the road against anyone is crazy, after all they couldnt even beat the Bengals at home! And now they are expected to go on the road and beat Indy - No hope and Bob Hope. With Manning the Colts would be 2 TD fav, even without him they are NOT FG underdog against one of the worst teams in the NFL. Colt McCoy is a young QB I like, but not in this game. Indy have the weapons to take this even without PM, add in home field advantage (1st home game) and the Colts fly in.
2nd game I am playing Sunday is Dallas -3 vs San Fran. My Jets were lucky last week - for 50 mins Dallas owned the Jets vaunted defence and should have won. But for a poor call on the goal line they could have put 30 points on the Jets. Add in they were playing in NY, had the 9/11 emotion to face and still should have won it was a very good effort. Now look at SF - on paper they looked to have blown out Seattle but wait - they were just 2 points ahead before 2 punt return TD in the last few minutes. And Seattle are one of the worst 3 teams this year. SF had only 85 yards rushing and only 200 yard of offence against a whipping boy. Dallas has a much better defence than Seattle so what chance this week. Dallas are a better team in almost every position and will win the game comfortably - even away from home and with the usual Romo errors.
I love the NFL but know zip about college football. I do though have a biz partner in US who has made a fortune betting college football, basically cos there are so many games on Sat the bookies are just not able to cap them all properly. I pass it on for what it is worth. He has told me to back Ohio State + 2 amd Stanford - 9. Cant give any reasons as I dont know them. Looking forward to the NFL tomorrow
