watched question time from londonderry last night and came up with an observation

the audience was imo more clued up than what you get generally over here in england

but your politicians were absolute tripe. Dianne abbot is pretty much a numpty imo, she looked 'clever'.

A bit of a generalisation maybe, and maybe just coincidence

when I see politicians like that I see why some of our countries are up the proverbial creek

English politicians are real ****s, but slick with their crap

Why do you use the word numpty?

I thought that was our word?

    Fixed :)

But agree with you on the politicians, they really arent up to the job. It seems the qualifications to get into office in Northern Ireland is to either be a raging bigot or an ex member of a paramilitary force. Their inability to get this place moving economically in any way is infuriating (just cut the god damn corporate tax) and the Stormont debates are an absolute joke with petty bickering and point scoring inhibiting any real progress

Don't know what you called the black woman but she struggled to give an opinion / answer to anything, just waffling on.

Some good points and it was quite funny seeing Dodds and Anderson about to have a go when the audience told her to move on. Near boked though when she was talking about celibacy and get being in prison.

that was dianne abbott. complete moron and you should say something negative about obama in front of her. i remember on This Week some bloke said he had failed after all the hype she nearly exploded

as i said in th OP, the people of ireland came acroos well informed and articulate

the panel came across as morons. owen patterson, the secretary of state for northern ireland looked like he was going to cry. he was slow, monotonous and boring imo

my mrs is part irish, i said to her the politicians in ireland must be bad if they made him SoS, and sent abbott and it was confirmed imo

I can not bring myself to watch QT any more.

The audience is full of the type of people that I wouldn't tire of battering the **** out.

Numpty is not an exclusive scotch word.

It does apply to all Glaswegians though.
