Should’ve kept Gazza <whistle>

Fwiw I always liked Gazza but he was no where near ready when he joined us, it's obviously harder as well to join a newly promoted side with a squad that was playing in the 3rd tier just over a year previous.

Glad it's worked out for him though

I think brb's point is that everyone slates City but most PL clubs are part of the problem.

We're paying a 3rd choice keeper 80 bags a week ffs!

Exactly. Makes me laugh when City get all the blame, hopefully RCL will remind us all eventually, how much the new ground cost, without all these rude interruptions from his fellow supporters.

Most Premier League clubs try to spend within their means, though. City don't remotely do that and cheat to spend even more.
It's a facile comparison.

I'm guessing Wolves aren't spending within their means and no one appears to slate them quite the opposite in fact.

Sorry mate but all this whinging about City in the last 6 months or so strikes me as big club fans who have never been bothered by the financial disparity in the league until it's started to affect them.

I've criticised Wolves since they came up. Dodgy owners and agent connections, which is why they're in their current position.
People have slagged off any club that does similar things. I'm not sure how you missed Chelsea receiving similar criticism going back years.

The only difference is mate, some teams decided to spend a billion quid on players, whereas other teams, pending RCL confirmation, decided to spend a billion quid on a ermmmmm Stadium.

I do find it tragic that there is all this complaining that VAR is ruining football.

Football has being ruining itself for years.

People celebrate City yet any mention of them spending over £700m in just 3 years results in cries of "bitter jealousy" or "but they play great football."

£700m plus...in 3 years...they already had the most expensive squad in British football history...has ruined football.

Not content with that they hsve broken FFP and were fined £49m but only hsd to psy £17m.

They then got caught breaking rules on signing under 18s...their punishment?
A fine of £310,000...what Stirling earns in a week.

(Chelsea got a transfer ban for similar.)
They are currently being investigated for again breaking FFP rules.

Things were not particularly good before city won the lottery but have rapidly gone down hill.

Instead of ****ing around with changing handball rules and VAR footbsll authorities need to make the game less like monopoly.

Rant over...off out for my daily 15,000 step challenge.

Oh...nearly forgot ...
come on Leicester <cheers>
It's an injustice alright mate. You would have finished 3rd last year otherwise. <whistle>

Are you saying that we’re paying cash for the new stadium?

Or are you saying that we’re paying it off in instalments from future revenues?

Think careful before answering this one, as I would hate for you to make a Pixie-esque wum fcuk up, mate.

They haven't won anything but wait until they do. The jealousy, anger and downright poison will come pouring out.

If Leicester beat Chavs, it will probably mean that Wolves will beat them, too.

Wolves were all over Leicester, last week.

City are where they are owing to being bought by a fabulously wealthy Arab oil state, who have virtually bottomless resources.

To try and pretend otherwise is ridiculous.
