Yep it’s the karaoke bar .....they put up a list of what they are showing for the week, lots of cats indeed but not a problem for us, food is very good and can’t say anything about the entertainment as we don’t watch any. And what’s wrong with a perv
Err, I suspect that you're on the wrong site here! Yes, you entitled to your opinion........ would be best if you just kept them to your friggin' self
We were in the game for pretty much the whole 90 minutes, put it that way. And at 2-0 we gambled, got back in the game, and were ultimately unlucky not to equalise and come away with a point.
Haven’t seen the highlights yet but I got the impression that had Ings not miskicked the chance JWP would have had a tap in. Not a bad performance but as has already been said, mistakes at the back need to stop. I put both goals down to defensive errors as we gave Mane far too much space and time to turn and pick his spot.
I’ll have to look again (not seen motd) but my impression was we didn’t really give Mane time or space, he did what the really good players do - he made both from nowhere, and what a ****ing finish.
Also this morning we met the resident donkeys (5 of them) who are free to roam where they like .......have to admit never seen that at a hotel before.
If you think we're gonna have a poor season then haven't we done as expected so far with a loss at a ground we notoriously struggle at and a loss to Liverpool? Surely if you're expecting us to have a poor season then next week against Brighton will give you a better idea?
I've just watched the MoTD highlights. Liverpool were playing, but I'm not sure who against. Liverpool had some poor defending - probably tired after a long flight - and this had nothing whatsoever to do with Saints' attack. The round up at the end mentioned Liverpool 100% of the time, then went on to mention...The next match being shown. It was as if Saints were not there, with no mention of any Saints player, good or bad. Apart from that, it was a very fair and balanced assessment of the game.
You can have whatever opinion you like, you can think we played badly to lose 2-1 to Liverpool, and other people can have the opinion you’re talking balls. Particularly when you start blaming Ralph for recruitment, which is, y’know. Wrong. It comes across as some kind of agenda.
I didn't watch the MOTD highlights, but I instantly recognised your description. It has happened countless times. It's yet another reason why I have all but given up having anything to do with football. You people are my last contact.
Don’t know how sky have got away with it, but putting mini highlights on YouTube shortly after the end of games is going to hurt match of the day. I think Gary Lineker believes the full name of our club is “a quick word on Southampton”
Keep seeing Twitter and other site messages asking why Boufal and Long weren't on the bench yesterday, the problem with a big squad is having to rotate players to keep them motivated, with no Reserve side they don't get any minutes of play.
Just a side note to the game, my mate brought along his 6 year Liverpool supporting son. We waited an hour after the game by the Liverpool team bus with many other families for the chance of a photo/signature. Apart from a brief appearance from Adrian the entire team ignored the cheers from the kids and went straight on the bus. In addition van dick brushed past of his adoring fans, nose in the air to get to his own transport as travelled separately from the rest of the squad. When th bus left the disappointed fans we go round the corner where Oriel, Maya and Fraser were happy to pose for selfies and autographs. I may convert the 6 year old yet. Just to sum up, I get sick to death of hearing that Liverpool fans are the best in the world. It seems that if that is the case, then the stuck up overpaid prima donnas of a team do not deserve them.
Really, really enjoyed the game. When we went in 1-0 down it was so much against the play that I had Mrs Onionman pop a bet on us to win. Evans looks like he'll be a handful. Good hold up play, astoundingly strong. Maya strengthened our back line no end. Valery looked uninterested. Needs a slap. Djnepo might prove difficult for defenders. Ralph needs to tell him the Neymar stuff needs to stop. Bertrand and Redmond worked together well. Redmond made three or four killer, utter killer passes that were inch perfect. Ones that made me say "****ing hell". That good. Ings, shame about the miss but no-one's mentioned his shot from the edge of the box that grazed the crossbar and had Adrián well beaten. Sublime. MOTM? Armstrong turned the game back our way when he came on. We need more of him. Never stopped, never gave in, showed some real skill. I love, LOVE, LOVE the press. It didn't pay off today but it will. Vin
Pretty much agree mate, though not too sure who this Evans guy is. I missed that. Yes the press forced mistakes from an experienced Liverpool defence/ keeper and Will reap more rewards from lesser teams
Evans is an Adams' lookalike. Can't tell them apart, even in good light. Plenty of people suspect they might even be the same bloke but I'm not fooled. Vin
Ahhhh, good point. I refer to him as Adams as he was listed in the programme as that and had Adams on the back of his shirt. I have been really taken in. He does look more like an Evans though. I am being converted.
Right! Even though I have like many others a big concern on the way recent games seem to have a pattern of mistakes, I do believe that RH is the man to eventually get sorted whatever it is that has plagued the team’s output for the last few PL games. If we can get something from next weekend then that will help things a lot, and self belief amongst the players will start to gel into a unit that other teams will approach with care. Currently they know we have an Achilles heel, get that sorted and who knows what could happen!!
