Brazil Argantina friendly -skills

    watched the second half of the above game yesterday and was so impressed when I think it was Damiao who flicked the ball up behind himself with both feet then over his own head and the defenders while running around him then chipped the keeper. sadly it hit the post with the keeper nowhere near it. Just unreal skill !

    Why can't English players do this sort of thing. I can't remember any apart from Gazza with any really good tricks

    I was struck also by the commentator who said many managers across the world would be angry that he even attempted such a move. I'm sure he's right and what does that say about a game thats become all about the winning not the manner in which it is done ?

    For me it made the game which otherwise was very dull.

    More entertainment please (I know it's not going to happen but we can wish) !

    I saw this game was on...was it only players based in Argentina/Brazil that were selected??

    Not sure mate I only switched on and caught the last thirty minutes. There were quite a few regulars from both sides missing so that would explain it.

    Yeah Shola's trick is petty impressive and seemingly the closer you get to him the more convincing he is as all of our recent managers have found out
