Sorry I edited that. You put him as our worst player. That’s out of kilter with pretty much every other reviewer I’m afraid. And Lewis has an excellent game, but ultimately didn’t play a key pass like Stiepermann did. You’re entitled to an opinion, but I can’t help feeling you were watching a different match here. At least on that one player.
What's odd about it, it was one of the best Norwich performances I have ever seen. Paddy also gave him a 7.
For Christ sake. Paddy didn’t put him as the worst rated. And didn’t say he “did very little” (quite the opposite). I get you’re not going to back down on criticising him. Let’s just leave it there.
“Mental”. Charming I’m not the one who is saying one of our players did very little despite most other reviewers thinking they were one of the best players.
We are so lucky to have Pukki at this stage in his career. If this kind of thing happened to a 21-year-old, it would be so easy for it all to go to his head and for him to get delusions of grandeur. Pukki has been around long enough in a range of leagues at various levels, and had less successful spells in his career, so there's no way he's going to turn into the Big I Am. He seems delightfully modest, as do most of the team. Long may it last because we really do seem to be on an upward trajectory as a club.
I already explained the context, you chose to ignore it. It's opinions. My ratings were really high cross the board.
It was funny seeing the Newcastle fans leaving at about 75 minutes. All that way, all the trouble with the trains on strike, and they walk out early. I knew some guys in the corporate boxes, and there were Newcastle fans in theirs. They didn't come back for the start of the second half!
They are pretty downhearted to be fair. Ashley is doing a Marcus Evans on their club. That reminds me, I've not read much anti Delia stuff lately.
Since she brought in nephew Tom (and apparently it was thanks to him and Ed Balls that we approached SW), EVEN KIO head been keeping a low profile!?
It’s a very difficult situation for me. Ashley has ploughed tons of money into their club, more than most owners, so part of me wonders how fair the criticism is. But then he’s obviously made some massive mistakes too
I was really hoping that MOTD would pick out "Shearer, what's the score", and play it to Alan. It would have been funny if then every stadium sung it when beating Newcastle. Becoming a regular feature on MOTD.
