Wyke already looks better than he did this time last year. Hes worked hard during the summer aswell by the look of him, he looks like a lean mean grilling machine.
Lots of positives. We started ****e, really bad, but we didn’t cave. Willis was outstanding, and he and Ozturk look good together, who thought we’d maybe see Ozturk as first choice after his first few games. O’Nien was excellent I thought, grafted his bollocks off, and Aiden and Maguire were busy. Wyke gave them a rough ride, exactly as he should, good shift from him. Hats off to big Jon, we are lucky to have him, superb keeper. 2 games I’d fancy us to win coming up and all is looking on the upside of steady. Why did McNulty go off? He was doing canny? Apart from that, good subs I thought from JR, although Grigg, I feel for him, he’s shot to bits. He needs anything, penalty, off his arse, anything. Playing with fear. Any win against the teams around us is decent, and for stats, we are 2 points up on last season from the 2 sides we’ve faced at home. 2 draws last season.
