Such an easy day, been back at my old depot (the clothing one) as they were short staffed today.

No hoying 18kgs of banans around, no being freezing, no driving trucks. Instead in a t shirt, shifting clothes around, chatting **** to all my old mates.

They are heavily recruiting at the end of the year as they open a new Dot.com part. Guess who's transfer request is going in?

Yes, they let me go, and now are willing to pay 80m to take me back.

In York today, for the weekend. Will be enjoying the sites and drinking copious amounts of beer.

 

I like York for a chilled out walk...not come across a memorable Chippie yet though

 

I love York. Beautiful place. Good beer. I used to get off the train just to have a walk around and go for a pint.

 

Did say i would bore you all with it but, as you ask, it's on its way.

 

I did a dad thing this evening.

My little girl spannered her iPod touch thingy by dropping it down the khazi and was devastated that she’d lost all her photos and messages.

I recovered them all on the missus’s old phone.

She was made up. I love doing dad stuff and seeing her happy.

 

How did you manage that. I’ve got an old iPhone I dropped down the ****ter. Tried linking it up to a pc but I need to be able to put the passcode in to unlock the phone and th screen doesn’t work..

 

Not on a google account? Most things are now so no matter what happens you can access all your data wherever you want.
