With the players we have we could play an actual back 4 though not worry about them getting forward, keep shape and let the front 6 press on. **** knows.

We are stronger than Pompey in every department. The balls in Jack Ross' court now to pick the right formation and starting 11.

Quite. Win this and it’s a solid start, anything less and it’s poor. I’d maybe have looked for 6 points, if we’d beaten Oxford I wouldn’t have been offended by a defeat at Ipswich, them being a challenger.

It’s really just that oxford performance that was a pile of **** that’s caused the concerns, that and the fact we were dire last weekend, but midweek was promising.

It’s obvious we are better when we attack teams, so hopefully we see a bit more of that.

We stay down again, we are in massive financial peril.

without Lowe they won't be the same threat. birmingham were rubbish last week, and Pompey lost to Shrewsbury who lost at home 0-4 to Rotherham ! in the caraboa ? cup the other neet. And as for Oxford they were worth their point and had to defend very well against us. When Mcgeady is fully fit and Grigg gets his act together we will be a force.

As I am on holiday (sort of, we have the grandchildren, how come 6 weeks is so long!) I thought I would miss the match but as it is on Sky? 12.30 kick off I may be compelled to watch it... as long as it is not 1-1!

Denver Hume is a decent left back but an awful wing back. The solution?

SACK OFF 5 AT THE BACK FOREVER AND TAR AND FEATHER ANYONE WHO EVER SUGGESTS IT AGAIN!

    Simple really.

Attacking them is the key mate, we shouldn’t be worrying about what others do, we should be pushing on and making them worry about us.

We cannot defend so attacking is the way forward (no pun intended). Lets just start from the whistle for a change go 3-0 in the 1st 20 mins and then get some more during the next 70 mins.
Hopefully our fans will be right up for this and create a decent atmos.

To me we just need right mental attitude. We have the ability for this league there is no doubt about that. Leadership reflects attitude so come on Jack now is the time to lead us forward out of this league. Sometimes in life just keeping things simple is all we need to do. 4 - 4 - 2 for me and press them from minute one. Someone not doing that then replace them even if it's in the first half. Don't want to hear any excuses tomorrow....just need the win. Get to the top of the league and dominate it as quickly as we can. Faints heart Jack....win f*ck all mate including yourself.

Still think we aren’t balanced and don’t know our first team or a good formation for them, predicting a defeat at home for the first time since we were in the premiership, really need this team to give me some belief tomorrow!!
