What the f uck are you having for Dinner thread..

I've had the Ximenex a few times before, usually at this restaurant as they recommend a good drink to go with dessert. Can't say I'm ordinarily a big fan of Sherry, but this is wonderful with a rich chocolate pud.

 

It sounds like a laxative.

It's nice to try but can't say I'm a big fan of the dessert drinks.

 

Gonna sound obvious, but they need to be drank with a dessert. It's not the sort of drink you'd sit and pour for yourself like a rum or a whisky

 

Next time try a German dessert wine Auslese.

I like a dessert wine. Can't drink more than a couple of bottles though as it's quite sickly after that.

 

It is good value, loads of it for next to nothing, you can make nice stew with the larger chunks.

 

This has made me want bacon. Though without the addition of a dirty looking thumb.
