****ing boring draw that. Too decent a side for a realistic upset, and not really interesting. Toon or Everton would have been the ones.
This evening's confidence booster for Wyke could do wonders for our season going forward. I was convinced Jack Ross would get it right eventually. He got it right this evening. He needs to get it right against Portsmouth. Because if he doesn't, the criticism will start afresh.
Not been on twitter but you can guarantee some “fans” (loose term) will avoid crediting him fir this and say it was the players or some stupid **** like that. Well done jack. Wyke & McNulty to start in a 4-4-2 on Saturday please
would like to see KImp at Burnley and one or two others. Look forward to the league match in 3 weeks.
See I think that's a very arrogant thing to say. Almost expecting us to win because they're only Accrington Stanley. They are in our division where they are and we are is where we both deserve to be
You've completely missed the point. That's not what I'm saying at all. I'm saying that getting that feeling of winning a game (celebrating etc.) is a great habit. It breeds confidence, the feel good factor, belief etc. etc. It doesn't matter whether we beat Accy Stanley or Barcelona, its a good cycle to get into.
Ah sorry man - no offence meant. Although I have seen a lot of arrogance from some of our fans on social media (and one on here) saying we should be beting teams like x, y and z
I think the Fleetwood game may be the 1st game cancelled due to International call ups. Alternatively JR might decide he has enough about the squad to just play on and give the fringe (no hair jokes ya tw*ts) players a run out to see what they can do. Playing catch up caught up with us last season imo. Personally (and very selfishly) I hope it is cancelled cos am in the good old USA, but no Walmarts, on my hols.
You’ve fully misread, or misunderstood his point mate. There’s no arrogance about saying something is a good habit
I think you misunderstand and can you keep the ‘arrogant’ word for the Mugs up the road. Nothing is a given, but if our manager can instill a positive mental attitude to the players and with our very passionate and large fan base, there is an opportunity to again enjoy success. The fact that we still have that following after the debacle of the last few years, is testament to the fantastic support that we have. We could, If that opportunity is missed, also whither away in this league. Win or lose, it’s in my blood and I fully realise that it’s the hope that’ll probably kill me, but I KTF
Mate the “arrogance” is justified when you see some of the idiots on social media and the “it’s only [insert league 1 team here]” We have some arrogant arsehole undoubtedly. Not in this case but, as you quoted, I apologised fir misinterpreting.
