We can tear Leeds apart with our second string......AH **** Jermaine Beckford has scored and Leeds are running rings around fat boy and the twats. 5 mins of fergie time and not a sound out of the Cockney Utd fans all match. I can't say I didn't expect Man U fans to be arrogant a second time round. 1-1, Leeds win on penalties.

 

Whatever happens in this game, a third division Leeds United team, that cost a total of less than £1million, beat a Man Utd team that cost over £50million at Old Trafford - becoming the first team outside the Premier League to beat Sir Alex Redface's team in the FA cup.

I don't know why any mancs would be expecting an easy game - all Leeds games under Grayson against Premier League teams suggests overwise.

Man U 0 - 1 Leeds
Spurs 2 - 2 Leeds
Leeds 1 - 3 Spurs
Arsenal 1 - 1 Leeds
Leeds 1 - 3 Arsenal

 

And yet only sides of little teams glorify a victory against the big boys, yet nobody else gives a **** as it meant nothing.

Here are some excuses in advance:

1. We lost because the game was only 48 hrs after the Chelsea match
2. We only played the kids
3. Our kit clashed with blue seats in Elland Road
4. The referee....
5. The moon was too bright
6. We don't care about the FA cup

8. The grass was too short

10. Rooney could not play as he was colouring his roots
11. **DELETED** could not play as he heard that there would be drug testing after the game at Elland Road

 

Which Leeds fans are "glorifying" those results in a "small time" way then? Best Fans is pointing to them as examples of our squad's tenacity, and it's a valid point. Our players relish games with a good atmosphere. Most people at the time of those ties accepted they were a bit of fun for the fans away from the serious league proceedings. Other than waving the 0-1 result in your faces - and let's face it, reciting the last result between two teams is pretty standard stuff among football fans - no-one could care less.
