Good Luck <ok>

Seeing as it’s pissing down outside thought I’d have an afternoon of jumps racing. The 2.40 at gods owns racecourse looks interesting. A juvenile hurdle with some nicely bred soughts. I’m taking on the fave and the two that caught my eye run for Nigel hawke.reptitio was behind must seethe doc last time but guardia top is related to some talented french types so I’ll have a gamble on the first time up runner.

worcester,4 55:

well, its not hard to pick holes into the form of most of these here, but i ll take a chance on GOLD MOUNTAIN.hasnt sparkled so far in three runs this season, but that resulted in a dwindling mark, and on his best form, and last win,2 years ago,he d have a more than decent shout today.stable also going quite well at present,so a good run wouldnt surprise at all in a rather modest affair..e w chancer

worcester,5 30:

POTTERMAN has quite a few lengths to make up on le musee on their ffos las running, but ive always liked him as a useful handicap hurdler, and he was probably just the best of these over hurdles.he showed, what he can do in this sphere on his chase debut before that slightly disappointing run,and should make amends today.big shout.

I am interested to see how Happy B gets on in the Worcester 8pm race. Been told it's a 'work in progress' so not to back it but he will be winning races in due course. Just a watching brief therefore for me. Downyapour looks the one on quick glance of the card..

worcester,6 30:

hard to split the two market leaders here.lapalala would be a definite handicap blot,if hobbs can coax her back to form.but, for me,she has too much to prove in her current form,so just too risky.that swings it in favour of CARDY,who bounced back to form in good style last time out.she might not have beaten a lot there, but did it in good style, and is open to further progress.also interesting, that gavin sheehan is here for just one ride, after riding at newton abbott.her yard is also in good form,so a prominent showing very possible.

Ran better than I thought he would Happy B and looks a nice prospect for the yard. Dr Newland has had 8 runners in August producing 4 wins and 2 seconds. Clearly a trainer to follow at present..he next sends some of his string out on Saturday - some entries at Market Rasen and Perth. The two at Perth look particularly interesting with Sam Twisters booked and unlikely to be travelling that far up the country for just a day out.

Newland regularly operates at a strike rate far better than the average. The downside is however that his runners always go off at shorter odds than the bare form would suggest they should. You wont get rich.

Yes agreed. Newland does seem on fire at present though and sending two up to Perth definitely catches the eye. Chef De Troupe assuming he takes up his entry and doesn't run at Newton Abbot next week moves up to a class 2 off a feather weight and Supreme Steel is entered in a very winnable class 4 having had a bit of a break. Not sure both will win on quick glance of the cards but I can see one definitely hosing up...

Could be a good play come Saturday and might pay for a night out and a decent curry...:emoticon-0148-yes:

Supreme Steel is a Foxtrot horse. If you want I will post the syndicate email when it comes through assessing its chances.

Sadly, Vosne Romanee (Newland), picked up a minor injury out in the States and will not be running in the planned second race of his trip.

Yes..any insight would be much appreciated Stick thanks.

Re Chef de troupe - he could well be running off 10 stone. Can Sam Twisters do that weight easily or will he be sweating it off in the sauna? If the latter that catches the eye even more to me...potentially could beat the hot pot top weight horse assuming that one runs.

His lowest weight done in last year is 10 stone
