Can't beat this sort of stuff either: And a dreadfully cheesey video for good measure!
Truer words never spoken. A song/lyric/tune can bring up memories long forgotten and that is the beauty of music.
Outside of metal this has to be one of my favourite songs - Also one of my favourite films Uma Therman isn't a physically stunning woman, but Mia Wallace's personality was just so ****ing sexy, and a woman that could pull off that role obviously has a fantastic range of emotions and personal traits in real life. I'd bang Uma Therman despite the fact that she's like 45 now.
I have to disagree. Crystal mountain has a lot of meaning behind it, about how religious fundamentalism can blind someones judgement, whereas this is basically just double bass drumming at 100mph.
Meaning wise yes, but technically and feeling wise i disagree. The way this song is played is just awesome. Unfortunately i've never seen Vitek play live (RIP), but everyone that has says this band was awesome.
The thing i noticed whilst listening to it was that it sounds fun to play, it sounds challenging, and learning it would make me a far better guitarist.
'The Day We Caught The Train' does the same for me. This reminds me a lot of my school years too.
This is what i call mindless music, despite the fact that the vocalist is excellent, the drumming is done by a machine, and the riffs are crap and unimaginative, just strumming the same notes over again and not ranging much past that riff wise. I don't think cannibal corpse is like this.
As a fan of cannibal corpse, i have to agree. That drumming doesn't sound real. Maybe the guy just picked a bad kit, like Lars Ulrich did for metallica on St. Anger. What the hell was he thinking?
The Beatles The Stone Roses The Smiths The Pogues The Libertines The Who Jimi Hendrix Experience Bob Marley Blur Oasis
Love Brian Eno, An ending was in one of my favourite films 28 days later, one of my favourite scenes of all time, also 1/2 and 1/1 takes you to another world really is amazing, nothing better then walking the streets at night to it, when everything is peaceful!! Also like Biosphere!
