Because what i said and what Cesc said is the same. We can't compete with the top 3. After playing for us for 8 years he has some right to talk about us. So he is not 'sticking the knife in' but he is saying the truth. Now stop **** stirring and do one.
I can tell you, for a fact, that there are quite a few on your board who completely disagree with you
Cesc Fabregas has posted on Twitter denying that he has given any media interviews since his press conference when he signed for Barcelona
Really? Gallas said something similar and it meant he lost the captaincy, for our leader to say we cannot win the title would be pretty demoralising for the team. Haven't made my mind up about Hoddle yet, he seems to love making antagonising comments.
Robin My fault. I meant to infer that Cesc should have been more vocal on the pitch, rallying the troops when needed. Instead he seems to prefer to lead by example of his own play. I wish he were more ln the mould of a Patrick Viera, speaking of whom I think most of us will remember the incident in the tunnel when Patrick said to a reportedly-nervous Gary Neville while pointing to Jose Antonio Reyes, " If you want to kick him, you're gonna have to kick me first ". Now there was a captain who stood up for his team and teammates. Somehow I can't quite see Cesc doing that. Of Mr H, I have the impression he is probably more likely to be annoyed by Scousers than us. Be seein' ya.
i don't think cesc would say something to deliberately annoy the club. We all know he loves the club, and he's too much of a gentleman to do it.
The Fabregas comments were fair and stating the bleedin' obvious IMO. Hopefully we have reinvigorated the squad and can start building team spirit and perform better than we have of late. I also doubt we can compete for the title since there are at least 3 others who will just buy, buy. buy to get there.
It was obvious his heart was not in it last season and he wanted out. Why he was made Captain is beyond me. The Captain should encourage his team, but he looked half asleep most of the time. If he had of been a better Captain Arsenal might of picked up a trophy along the line. Cesc was a good player for Arsenal but he could of been alot better.
Give me time. I'm one of the good guys. Honest! I think that's unfair. The comments I make are my opinion. It would be an exceedingly boring world if we all shared the same opinions. I do get the feeling that some of you jump far too quickly at calling a poster a "wum" merely because he expresses a view that is not 100% complimentary, especially if the poster happens to be a Spurs supporter. I'm never discourteous about your players or your fans, which is more than can be said for some of you!
Hacks really do a hack job a lot of the time... Anyway guys, I think you should try to lay off Mr H. Quite honestly I've noted his posts here for a couple of weeks now and find that he has not been contradictory as has been reported. He has not been unfair in his comments about the team or anyone in it. If anything we've probably been more scathing of our own team. He actually began posting here by offering sympathy when we had a difficult start to the season, especially after a certain trip to the northwest. In all other contributions he has been positive and constructive. I believe he is one of the good guys on this forum. Any forum in fact. Y'all have a nice day friends
Anyway it is much better to win something when everyone agree that we can't, rather than losing it all when we all expect a trophy.
