Mark E Smith sues everyone for anything and everything that sounds remotely like a song that he once had in his head at any point in time.

aye, older songs like mollys chambers and the bucket are better. They've got worse over time, to be honest, just 'bigger'

    Led Zeppelin
    AC/DC
    T-Rex
    Rolling Stones
    Guns n Roses
    Madness

I'd be careful here Tash. James Hetfield openly admitted that they had been less than original with certain songs (check out "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)," as compared to Bleak House's "Rainbow Warrior"). Just because a lawsuit isn't filed doesn't mean it's not swiping of material. People always focus on lyrics, and forget about the rest.

  8. Yes i admit CC's music is shocking, and before i got into death metal i had a view that it was just loud noise, but at least they're making their own music, not stealing it. They have more talent than Coldplay in their arse cheeks.

Even if a band makes music i don't like, if they have talent and do their own thing, i respect that, but Coldplay are plagarist twats.

So you honestly believe that every musical idea to come out of the band Metallica is entirely original and hails from nothing beyond their own minds?

Define talent, is making loud noises talent or is singing in key?

If making loud noises is talent then I was a very talented child

  17. No, i believe in inspiration. But there's a difference between inspiration and all out plagarism.

I do not want to get into this argument at 12.23am.

Lets get back on subject please.

Chris Martin to me, is an arrogant prick who thinks he is a musical genius and believes he is bigger than the band

My definition of talent is being able to play an instrument properly. Vocals are an afterthought. All the bands i like, i like them for their music, not the singing. As a musician, music inspires me.
