Oven chips are fine if you deep fry them. Nice and crispy. Which is how I like chips. And I love my poached eggs we've had this before, bum nuts are a big part of my diet. The burgers were lovely BTW the chopped mushrooms was genius
I only ever do my own chips, which involves peeling. cutting, slicing and frying/. I will not eat oven chips. ffs i may as well in some hash browns. (now theirs an idea) I vary my burgers, i'm gonna trying mushing some mince with some mustard ingrained into it. Actually may do that tomorrow got some buns
sounds like a plan, but tonight i'm gonna have that bobbys. saying that, i've got a good looking steak in for tomorrow . Also got some mince, so may do a mince and dumplings for thurs, now there's a thought, not had that for ages.
Had a Spoons mixed grill last night. Was disappointing. That tells you how bad it was, because we all know exactly what we're getting at Spoons ffs! The beer was good though, Jail Ale, an old SW favourite of mine. Especially when it's £2.19 a pint.
Nothing says I love you like a burnt meatball, an undercooked egg, a handful of soggy fries and a slice of bread.
Tonights is all planned. Having a peppered rump steak, which is currently marinating with some soy sauce please log in to view this image chips have been done twice. garlic mushrooms done. fried onions done couple of Linc sausages and some mixed peppers. sorted
Sounds good bar the soy marinade. Go find yourself some smoke sauce from the international bit in Tesco.
i like to marinate my steaks, it'll still be done 1 minute either side, then a further 30 seconds on each. No more.
I like my steak to taste of steak. Bit of salt an pepper then job done. Pork I like to marinade. Soy, paprika and honey is a favourite.
Several ways, split a fresh garlic clove and rub it into the steak or finely chop it and press it in to the steak (both sides) or if feeling lazy I use Schwartz garlic granules. Generally i will also cover it in quality olive oil <<< Gio's idea.
