Cheers. I would upload the PL videos i take, but they get copyrighted.. -.- I'm going to instead put all the clips of the home games and what ever away games i go to into a compilation and upload it onto metacafe at the end of the season, or maybe just to do match by match i dunno lol.
Again, no order to it whatsoever: Rush Jimmy Eat World The Beatles The Smiths Funeral for a Friend Metallica Killswitch Engage Alter Bridge Kiss Journey It's hard putting them into an all-time top 10, but these are bands that have featured very heavily in the time I've been listening to music. There are a million others though. Ask me on a different day and maybe it'd be different!
What music do Metallica steal? Don't start with the Dave Mustaine and Kill em all ****e, if that's what you're on about.
Just bands and in no order: The Killers Death Cab for Cutie Red Hot Chili Peppers (gutted John Frusciante left, but at least his solo stuff is immense) Bright Eyes/Conor Oberst & The Mystic Valley Band Placebo Band of Horses Led Zeppelin Muse The Walkmen And either the Ramones, The Clash, or Iggy and The Stooges. However this could easily change a bit next week or even by tomorrow depending what mood I am in; I like too much music to say a definitive top 10.
I said that to rile you up. The point is, everybody steals ideas from everybody else and always has done since music was first conceived.
No they don't, people are inspired by bands and make music is a similar style, but Coldplay actually take other peoples music and their ideas and make song out of them. Can't be arsed to go into detail at this time, but if you want proof, their latest song "Viva La Vida" is a rip off of a Joe Satriani song, and they were sued for it. People have used other peoples work before and put their ideas with them. Black Eyes Peas do it all the time, but at least most bands/artists ask permission and pay the artists rights to use their material, instead of just listening to a song they like, re-perform it and try to mask it so most people wont notice, then sell it as their own.
It's a good job you didn't go into detail because it would have been a waste of your time. People do steal musical ideas all of the time, that Coldplay/Satriani thing is barely noticable compared to what most popular music acts have done to classical music for the last 60 or so years.
They help me expand emotionally *tongue in cheek* Whats wrong with them too mainstream? dont want to conform with society? I admit most of their big songs are overrated and i like the least, dont get me started on Sex on fire!!
Well people could argue that Coldplay make good music that means something, and while ripped off half of the time, still sounds good. Whereas say Cannibal Corpse just make horrific noise and grunt and have songs such as "Entrails Ripped From A Virgin's ****" for no other reason than pure shock value. Just playing devil's advocate here mind, I don't necessarily subscribe to these views myself.
I know they steal music, and i have no respect for any band that does it, but Metallica isn't one of them.
