Rudiger is the only injured player I can think of? hazard wasn’t a team player though so they’re a much better team without him @Zanjinho
Hudson-Odoi deffo won't seem to remember he was out for months not sure what RLC is out with. Since Kante came on yesterday would expect him to start but tbh i'm more concerned with what 11 we stick out.
Hudson odoi snapped achilles or something. Rlc ankle ligaments which is why he didn't play in europy final. Kante was something with his knee but back in full training. Rudiger i think is coming back from knee surgery
Hudson odoi, for all the hype. Every single game I’ve watched he’s not not had any kind of impact. Clearly talented but I wouldn’t say he is any better than willian or Pedro at the moment given his end product. Loftus cheek, yeah half decent. Again, any real improvement on Barkley or kovacic though?
I'd rather hoover get the chance anyways, not that we need the money but if they wana give us the 20m back I'll take it.
Andy Lonergan set to sign Liverpool have agreed a one-year contract with goalkeeper Andy Lonergan. Liverpool agree contract with goalkeeper as transfer set to complete amidst crisis Karius injury scuppers 'return rumours' Few whispers going around on social media suggesting Liverpool are going to recall Loris Karius following Alisson’s injury.
At 17 I don’t agree. Imagine if TAA were injured. Gomez would have to move right and Matip slots in. Matip suffers a few injuries a year so we’d have to play the young lad in key games. That’s too much to ask imo. Perhaps in other positions you can take a chance but not at CB....especially not in the PL.
Hudson odoi has been okay but what he has over pedro is more pace and strength whilst pedro is more tricky. Hes okay with space in front but whilst ive seen bits, hes a little like Ibe. Hopefully he fulfils his potential I was a big loftus cheek hater when he first came in as i thought he was a big lump and no finesse. Watching him last year though hes a cut above. Good awareness, good touch but what he does really well is hold players off and use his body effectively whether thats receiving a pass or dribbling. If he can stay injury free (hes consistently injured whereever hes been) he will be a star. Last year we were toothless without him playing and thats with kovacic and barkley getting most of the games
well i was just pointing out they did have other injured players but yeah agree i haven't seen anything from Hudson-Odoi to justify the hype. On RLC like Bobby think he is a deffo upgrade on Barkley or Kovacic but as he says he seems to be very fragile .
I 100% agree it's not often a player that young ever comes in and sets the world on fire. We have seen more often than not young centre backs come in and look decent only to show they are not good enough (illori, wisdom, Kelly etc). It's pivotal position and it isn't one we should be compromising on whatsoever
Loaning players out where they get first team opportunities does help.Sheyi Ojo is a good example. He might be ready for our first team in another year or two.
Klopp has said in the past if they're good enough they won't be loaned out and they stay with the team to train within. Its evident, especially comparing it to the likes of Wilson, Woodburn and others who are serial loanees who will never make it with the team. So yes it can be good, but then there is also a reason why you are being shipped out on loan
Ojo is out there to raise his price, same reason Kent was up there last year and Wilson is at Bmouth. Shame no one though Kent was worth that price and will probably end up leaving on a free
Lovren 'agrees' personal terms Dejan Lovren has reportedly agreed personal terms on a move to AS Roma Sky Italia, cited by Calcio Mercato, claim the defender has agreed a €3million-a-year contract to make the move to the Serie A giants.
Positive negotiations have taken place between Liverpool and Roma for Dejan Lovren. Liverpool expect to recoup almost all of the £20 million fee they paid for him. Klopp wants a clearer path to the first team for Sepp van den Berg. (@MelissaReddy_) So happy
It’s at least a year too early and absolute madness imo. I truly hope I’m wrong but can’t help but feel that this will come back and haunt us. Ah well, what do I know.....
