I log onto my laptop and check my email, every morning I have a number of reported posts, 5 today, every moring they come from the same place, this board. We have full English and Scottish football forums, games played every week and emotions high but somehow they seem to handle it. One small forum just cant sort themselves out, this one. Rather than keep pressing the report button, it brcomes a little like crying wolf from my side, why not sort it yourselves, its easy. If a particular poster annoys you, use the ignore facility and they will never annoy you again. Settings Ignore list halfway down on left Type username Send Take responsibilty for your forum.
Amen, but it doesn't stop some users flooding the board with new WUM topics. I agree the behavior on this board is embarrassing and the only solution is to ignore posts that you don't like. Hopefully more will do so and it will dissuade trolls from making WUM topics.
Isn't it your job as a moderator to moderate the board? If you are receiving alerts should you not be acting upon them as I'm guessing there is a pattern to the posting. People are taking responsibility by alerting problem users surely so surely you should be taking action against the complainers if it's malicious or the poster being complained about if not.

@The OP. If they're yapping too much,take the ability to do so off them.I'll bet half of them don't even follow F1 and just jump from sport to sport seeking attention.
Punish them by putting them in moderation or banning them. Moderation is like the old 606 when you do something naughty. Leave the good users to post straight away

No offense to the moderators, but couldn't you just ban Lorca and been done with it. It's obvious that when ever he posts, the F1 forum goes dead. It would save a lot of hassle and these complaints if we just got rid of him. JJ and Fred don't complain, you are the same person and are just as bad if not worse
That's fine F1 but the mod has admitted on another thread that he knows SFA about F1.He's been thrown in at the deep end and rear diffusers like Fred will persecute him IMHO
Then make Ashbees/F1mclaren/AbsolutelyGlorious or one of the canaries mods. Not one of them have been inflammatory on here. Fred, JJ, Lorca and LewisWDC (although there are about 6 of him) are pains in the asses. The only decent threads of Lorca's it turns out are completely plagiarised.
I'm not doing it guys, Mick asked me already. I don't know why you don't use the ignore poster option in the settings, it's very easy to use. If you are wound up by somebody or hold a grudge, like a few of you seem to do, then use it because the likes of me and a few others don't want to read all the bitching.
@Ashbee No probs.I don't give one about the WUMs it's the OP that is sick of them. Ignore them or reply to them,it's all the same to me. On a side note,I think you would make a good MOD But what the heck,.You can say whatever you want over here. The OP is sick of the babies who keep complaining to him.
