My first job was a paper round must've been 11/12 Mon to Friday 6am to 7am =£12 pw That's when I realised that this working **** ain't for me.
Well, I'm into my second week of running/fitness, but I dare say a pint of Dark Side (or two) won't hurt. I'll be in the cafe bar at 7:30pm.
I used to do a paper round on a place called the Peyps estate in Deptford. Loads of high rise flats on a big 1960 council estate. At the time I thought I had the best job in the world coz I'd deliver to 2/3 flats at that was my round done, when my mates were pounding the streets taking hours to do their rounds. Looking back it was a **** job and a proper ****ing sketchy manor too. Full of drug dealers and car thieves. The lifts were always broken in the flats so I had to use the stairs, which always stank of piss. I remember finding half a finger in those stairwells once and not really thinking it was that odd at the time. I ended up getting bored with that job and dumping the papers in some nearby garages, until some old bint saw me doing it and grassed my up so I got the sack
