If we got 40 people to post “Corner” after every corner (some delayed by lagging internet streams) then the thread could hit 10 pages.
Tbh my school wouldn't accept anyone over 12 who couldn't already roll a decent ziggy. And had a fit mum. In fact having a fit mum is a now a requirement.
A 134-year-old club being dragged down by poor ownership over a bill that some Premier League players could pay in a month. Hopefully someone will save them.
Very sad. The amount of money the game turns over in this country. Just seems wrong a club can be allowed to just die. Also not letting them play seems stupid to me. Yet more lost revenue
And who in the football world will give a ****? Same as Chester or Darlington. Sounds awful to say but we almost need a big club to go pop for things to change.
Sad when football clubs go under, the destruction of another community. Plus all the revenue that gets lost with it, everything from the local pub, food takeaway, public transport, local trades people, newsagents it has an impact on everyone, not just the club and the jobs within it. That's not forgetting all the charity, school and hospital work club and players do.
Only when it truly effects the powers that be by lost revenue will they give a ****. Fat cats don't care.
Aye, local football clubs are part of the community and are hugely important to their fan bases. Owners of clubs are merely the custodians, or at least that’s all they should be. Fans trusts should become the norm in the lower leagues imo.
