Not sure it would. I think in time it’d create a vicious cycle in that if the ESL happened, a domestic side will end up being the new Man City/ Man Utd in the Prem, and then 5-10 years later will be expecting entry into the ESL and then the process will just repeat.

It'd be nice if promoted clubs could challenge without risking the future of the club too.

 

My only rule would be if you leave our domestic league then you can't compete in the FA Cup either.

Wolves came up and were competitive, though I'd question a lot of their methods.
Leicester got promoted, stayed up and then won the league.

Agree regarding Wolves but they'd be in trouble if the owner lost interest or they got relegated.

That made me laugh much more than it should have

 

We just beat Juventus, beat Madrid in the group at Wembley and drew at their place and got a draw at the Nou Camp.
They're no Burton Albion, but still...
