If you're going to read the forum on a small screen like a watch, no wonder you have an odd view of things.

Still doesn't explain the love of Pardew though...

I don't love Pardew though? I simply accurately assessed him and Rafa of having very similar track records at Newcastle (Pardew's was factually proven to be better). Both did good jobs. The fact that the Rafa Cock Washers take that as a love of Pardew is not something I can assist with. All I can suggest to said supporters is to perhaps steer away from hero worship. You can assess someones performance without having to either kill them or gargle their spunk at the end. With our supporters its like they are playing a narrowed down altered version of kiss, marry, kill with our managers.

I always found it was best to update the Prediction league before posting on every thread on the board on a Monday morning. It's little touches like that that can turn you into one of the most loved posters on the board .... I have found.

He had us 8th and we had a decent side plus 77m to spend the following season as a result of him managing well on a shoestring for 4 years. If Rafa had followed him instead of two incompetent simpletons, then Pardew would have looked better again.

    Its just another fallacy.

No argument. However I am only judging his time at Newcastle. Given he had a better record than Rafa, I don't understand why Rafa supporters would want to do him down. Even if you disagree with the statistical facts, you'd have to accept that at worst Pardew only did a slightly worse job than Rafa. So if Pardew was so ****, you are really saying Rafa was **** too.

    Or you are an ostrich.

Very short sighted to only judge him on his performace at one club... in fact id say even an ostrich wouldnt be that blind.. pardew is a worse manager end of.. are you nuts?

Over their whole career Rafa is clearly a far better manager. I have never said otherwise.

I'm not judging managers on their career though. I literally could not give a **** what a manager has done elsewhere because all that matters to a Newcastle supporter is what happens when managing us. I think this is the problem with our support they can't be objective. A good example is Steve McClaren had a fantastic record at Twente. However at Newcastle we'd have been better off having a paperweight in charge.

All that matters is at Newcastle when assessing their performance. What Rafa did at Valencia or Liverpool, or his abject failures elsewhere are not relevant. The assessment at Newcastle on all known parameters puts Pardew ahead. Why that is, well that is pretty obvious. The owner. He cuts the budgets so thin, that certain managers who are used to operating with money, get dragged down to the level of others when faced with not having any. They are so far out of their comfort zone.

The only thing that matter is the core of this debate

    Rafa > pardew ..

Anything else argued along with the other vegetarian cronemeister is totally pointless ..

We have a worse manager and coaching team ... thats it ! Why cant people just say youre correct? Crone was arguing that almiron has end product last week ffs ... no goals no assist ive had enough of him

The core debate has always been who is better at Newcastle. Its the only thing relevant when discussing Newcastle.

    Rafa>Pardew over their career
    Pardew>Rafa at Newcastle

Its like saying Kluivert was a fantastic signing because of how good he was at Barca and Ajax. He was still fat and **** for Newcastle.
