Anyways...score predictions and lineup ideas folks? Anything you'd like to see different to mid-week against Dortmund?

How do you think Arsenal will cope with the physical challenge of Blackburn? I'm more confident now Chesney is in net :) He'll be coming for plenty of crosses, and Mertesacker should hopefully make the team more aerially balanced.

Think frimpong might start ahead of benayoun to cope with their physical side. 3-0 to arsenal

Arsenal will win, and with an extra weeks training I think they'll do so fairly comfortably. There is pressure on this game, but after a good, solid performance mid-week I reckon they'll be fine. I'd prefer Ramsey over Benayoun in the middle if possible so Benny can come on later and provide solidarity late on.

Blackburn away is never "comfortable" for us, if we scrape a 1-0 or 2-1 win I'd be delighted to be honest. Anything less than 3 points though is a disaster.
Hope to see Park get a run over the waster Chamak.

I thought Chamakh has looked better in his last 2 games, I do want to see Park play though. I think the game will be really tight and settled by 1 goal.

I've thought he's looked better too. Seems he's a confidence player so would be daft to drop him when he's showing signs of improvement. I fancy Park to get his first runout against Shrewsbury (despite me forgetting to include him in my 'line-up').

With the way we played against Swansea I'd be happy with a point against Blackburn away. It's getting a bit of a joke, deluded we are still big boys, and we go away to teams like Stoke and Blackburn and think we can come away with all 3points. Gentlemen, there is a new world order..... I wonder how long it took for once big teams like Everton, Preston, Nottingham Forest to realise that the only thing they are likely to win was the Autoglass trophy?

Half a new team who had less than 2 days preparation with their new team mates and arguably our most influencial 2 players out injured, when the new guys gel and the injured get healthy we'll be fine, I doubt we'll have enough to win anything but I don't see that as the be all and end all, long term security, playing good football and entertaining are more important to me that winning trophies.
And I can understand people believing that things aren't as good as they have been in previous years but your comments strike me as being an overreaction...
