I think the mods are doing a good job maintaining the United board but its just in the last few days that these wums like Nohlman have taken over the forum spouting their abuse.
Lets not beat around the bush, the board should be the largest on the site, its nowhere near, we have been maimed from day one by users from other teams, we are at our lowest, but we will rise again Comas - " A Choice for Change"
I know voting is out the question and you have 3 mods already, but when one either retires or dies in the line of duty I think Berb would be a reasonable candidate. But as far as I know the current mods have to come up with a name when needed and pass it on to Syd or Mick for approval, like Swarbs said.
Skylarker would be a good candidate for the United Mod position if a current Mod were to be murdered in his sleep. But Comas does have a good slogan.
I am only here to help the numbers increase, due to my alliance with the mighty Liverpool I will not be a candidate in this or any future election.
I changed my mind. Jimmy McMillan for mod!. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x4o-TeMHys0 THE RENT IS TOO DAMN HIGH! or if you want the musical version. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gg5SwyTvAHw
You could go all labour, and use a theme tune to emphasise the importance of your appointment.
I might take the position of Berbs manager if any election takes place - This is his slogan: "Ham and Eggs: A day's work for a chicken - A lifetime commitment for a pig"
Swarbs is a great mod as he is intelligent and reasonable. I think most of the boards are now sensibly moderated and this site hasn't suffered in the same way as others when it comes to filtering and banning from boards. Most regular users know where to draw the line between banter and something more distasteful. I do like the slogan though!
i have a dream, i dream of a world where all chickens are able to cross any road without their motives being questioned.
if the mods need a slogan, it doesn't need to be catchy. How about, "we got rid of nolhman and kpr. nuff said"
