That's kind of you to say so, merrysupersteve, but despite us maintaining our excellent European record against Twente last night, I'm not sure that I see us as potential champions. Not this season, at least.
Chelsea's PL record at OT is better than any other team. However, that will count for nothing on Sunday. Man Utd are flying at the moment, but after a very slow start, we seem to be improving in every game.....and there's no doubting the boys, particularly the new ones, are eyeballs out for this one.The Cottagers could help us out nicely as well!
West London have no Drogba and will be reliant on Torres and Sturridge for gols, bearing in mind how awful their midfield was on their last two trips away to Manchester U's. In which case I expect Manchester U's to win convincingly on home field
The games between Man. Utd. V. Chelsea and Fulham V. Man City will be a close call as to who wins. However it would not surprise me if the Man Utd. win by the odd goal. The other game I expect man City to win by 2-1 or even 1-0
I think this will be a real test for Man United and will show ho good they really are! I think CHelsea are getting stronger and it will be a very close game as always!! i think it will be 1-1!
We are certainly improving but it will be a big test. How we cope with the likes of Young, Nani and Rooney will be a decisive factor in the result. Going forward we have alot more freedom and fluidity than we did last year so i think we can give them problems at the back. 2-1 United but it will be close
It's Salford for ****s sake It'll be Manchester when they move the political boundaries next year. They will probably split our cheeks and give it to us dry. The twats.
Actually it's Trafford you **** And don't worry, we won't take you as hard as we did Arsenal. We'll only score 7...
Salford, Trafford? who gives a **** Game probably comes too early for a Chelsea side still very much work in progress but come Christmas there won't be anything between them. Chelsea should start with Sturridge and Anelka who are both in form and should both worry the **** out of carthorse Evans.
No Drogba, Torres is finished, Sturridge is a flat-track bully - can only score past weaker defences, Chelsea's midfielders notoriously go missing at OT. All adds up to a comfortable Man Utd win. I'm gonna go for 2-0 only because I figure we might be a bit wasteful and not score as many as we'll deserve.
