I totally understood (and agreed) that sorting out the defence was the priority for us. But I still firmly believed we were an attacker short - if we intend to start two strikers on regular basis. Look at today; go 1-0 down and Obafemi is who we find ourselves turning to...
 
For all the pressing, new signings in the forwards, link up play and attacking pace, you can’t legislate for defensive errors out of nothing that cost goals.

Why is everyone so bothered about age. Danso is older than Valery. If you're good enough you're old enough.

Agreed. However, I'd just argue that Danso won't suddenly make us great - the same as Augsburg leaked plenty of goals when he played with them. It all depends on the combination of his own level (which will improve as he's young, however good anyone thinks he is now) and the players around him.
