I decided to buy today's game just to see how it was, if OK then I would buy it for the season. However, I cannot seem to pay with my card, I assume that is because it is a payment on a UK bank account, does anyone know if that is the reason? If so, seems a bit stupid, as there must be people just working abroad on a short term basis, who don't have an overseas account. Though, I assume this is to stop people using a VPN and watching it in the UK?
Don't know the answer John, but ever thought of setting up a $US account with your UK bank, getting a $US credit card with them, and pumping payments through PayPal ? Just might work !
Not that easy to open a US$ account, I did it once, and the hoops you have to jump through it just takes too much time. Paypal doesn't work yet according to their website, I think the easiest is to ask a friend here to pay with their card and I will pay them.
Ah yes, forgot they promised Paypal would be set up, but didn't deliver. Your solution seems simplest. What's her name ?
