He's a secret admirer. Maybe he's planning one last season after us and he's syphoning some cash into your coffers ready for when he arrives. Fortunately we've got the Reid cash back plus a bit, though sorry to see him go. Tomlin's fee is gone though.
Reid’s gone on loan hasn’t he? Speaking to my mate who follows Cardiff says he can’t understand why he won’t play Reid
Season loan with an obligation to buy apparently. A straight £10M, so £1.5M profit from what we paid you (£8.5M plus £1.5M if we'd stayed up). I'm with your mate, can't understand why he wouldn't play him. Well I do, he's very conservative and likes his big / physical men. That being the case, why the hell did he buy him? He said he wanted to build a team around Reid this season, and looking at footage, Glatzel, while being a big lad, plays on the ground. so would suit a smaller nippy man off him. I was crying out last season to play 4231. Gives Colin his defensive midfield but exploits the pace we had in attack. Just about the only time he played it was last game against utd and we looked good and Bobby had a good game. Zahore up front with Murphy, Reid and Mendez-Laing behind. Hey ho, water under the bridge now. We'll get some profit on the deal and a player who said he didn't want to be here has his wish. Interestingly, Reid is quoted as saying he's always wanted to play for Fulham. All in here. https://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport...s/neil-warnocks-brand-football-didnt-16730020
I’ve heard his relative sister is from London so perhaps it’s Fulham area. But it is a strange thing to say he’s ALWAYS wanted to be there. Correction she’s from Battersea so I suppose it’s only 2 miles or so.
Endearing himself to the Fulham faithful and justifying his move. Doesnt look like you guys had a sniff of resigning him. Reading between the lines, his agent has been stirring for a while.
There are a few out there that would be happy with that.............losing one of the most successful managers, this club has ever had....
Buying Reid was a mistake. Nothing to do with Reid - the mistake was Warnock's. If you get any extra cash out of the deal that's a bonus for you. Pack is a much better fit for Warnock's game style, and whether that style is right or wrong will be judged on results and table position at the end of the season - the purists can say what they like. With Flint and now Pack in the side joining Morrison, Bamba, Paterson and Glatzel, we have a very strong spine down the middle. It's a question of converting that power into control and allowing the others either side of them in the side to perform - that's Warnock's job.
poor old Pack … one never knows if the injury was " a waiting to happen event" but baadiff did well to rescue a point last night, and Flinty looks to be back to how he was with us! The 28-year-old was a key signing from Bristol City on transfer deadline day. He was forced off during the first half of Sunday's 3-0 defeat at Reading with a leg injury and was absent from Wednesday's 2-1 win over Huddersfield. "It looks bad to me, I think the physio said that it could be a couple of months, which will be a nightmare for us," Warnock told BBC Sport Wales
