With both Zimmerman and Klose not playing our defence was going to be weaker. It would be 3 - 1 without the own goal, which seems to better reflect the match. Hanley couldn’t get into the side for most of last season so this match was always going to be tough for him.

Buendia has been their stand-out performer - the vision he has, the ability to drop a shoulder and show nice skill in the right areas. I hope Norwich take a lot of confidence from this second half because they've been superb, they've steadied the ship. Maybe Liverpool dropped it down a couple of gears but give Norwich a bit of credit, they've grown into this game.
