Lo Celso and Ndombele are quite similar in that they're both excellent dribblers, are a threat in the final third and take risks(particularly Lo Celso). They also have excellent work rates, are quick and can tackle but that's just what makes them good fits for our squad, there aren't many that don't have those attributes. Having Lo Celso sit and play passes would be a waste of his talents and it's not something he does. I agree on the 433, it's definitely a good option for us. I've never been a fan of us playing it as it usually leaves to big of a gap between midfield and attack but with Ndombele and Lo Celso we could certainly cover that ground better. I get the feeling Pochettino might prefer the diamond this season with 2 up top.
As I said earlier this summer, the squad is strong enough to not need the newbies to hit the ground running on day 1. However, all of them must be "ready" (by which I mean : 1. up to PL speed 2. Pochettino "fitness" regime) by December, which is when the season starts to get frantic.
Yep, we've done this before. Gives time to get the media stuff done and the later the transfer the more exposure it gets, which is especially useful if you don't get a last minute deal across the line. If United don't get anyone significant and the only major deal is selling Lukaku then you can bet they'd wish they could announce Maguire again.
HERE WE GO THE SOCIAL MEDIA INTERN HAS BEEN LET OUT OF HIS CAGE, LEVY HAS HAD A TRIPLE ESPRESSO, POCH IS STRETCHING HIS ARM FOR THE PHOTO SHOOT
I've heard they've run out of the letter "S" for the players' shirts and are waiting for Amazon Prime to deliver some more
ITK for you here. Foyth has liked a photo on Insta which mentions the possibility of Dybala joining on loan and not needing a medical. @remembercolinlee you've been calm throughout this window, what’s your rational view about that?
Reporter at our training ground just said both medicals passed and lo celso and Sess are now spurs players
How long has he got left on his contract? Could be a good move for him, but I hope it works out better than the last defender that we sent to Stoke...
