Horrible rumour (Mirror, so unlikely to have legs) that Ollie is thinking of signing the charming Mr Diouf. Just in case it has crossed his mind DON'T DO IT OLLIE!!!!

can you imagine Diouf turning up in his pink Chav mobile to Blackpool's training ground? Would Blackpool pay him silly money a week when they have lost players such as Charlie Adam whom they could have offered more? Think that this is probably one of Ollie's funnies...........unless he is gong to put him on the beach with the other donkeys.....

Completely different scenarios and you know it.

I personally wouldn't want Diouf here but he'd be a class player for any championship team.

He'll look good driving up and down the front flashing his lights. They might even get him to turn on the illuminations.

Sorry, Swords I can not agree with you this time as you well know Mr. Diouf is a scumbag of the first order, come on mate would you like him at and trying to play football at the Bush? NO, did not think so.I have always held you in high esteem, but coming out with remarks like that has let your side down.. I think you are just having a bit of fun?

How so my weird and wonderful chum? North doesn't think so and he's our Super Mod!! <wizard>

Indeed I am not Jimmy son. If the tables were turned and Barton had barked in Mackie's face, the same Clowns on here would be spouting the same sh*t about him! Whats good for the goose.........

Well, the good news is we have Joey Barton and the even better news is we don't have El Hadj Diouf!

I know I said that I'd let the Barton stuff drop, but ......completely with you Swords, I can't let you stand alone.

In what way, other than one plays for Rangers and one doesn't? The offences may be different, but is the man behind them? And while we are on this, what do you think about Roy Keane? Is he better or worse than Diouf?

it is a different scenario as diouf has been involved in incidents involving our club, if barton had been then we wouldn't want him either

Well, firstly, Barton has never had any altercations with anyone to do with QPR.

Secondly, Barton's serious misdemeanours have been off the pitch at a time when he has openly admitted he had a problem with drink. Diouf has no such excuse. Off pitch crimes, in my opinion, are more excusable as long as they don't involve picking on women, kids, the disabled etc.

Diouf has twice been charged with spitting at fans and once with racially abusing an 11 year-old ballboy.

Barton has also sought rehabilitation after recognising his faults and is involved in a lot of charity work. To be fair, Diouf has set up something charitable in Senegal too.

Barton will benefit our team. Diouf isn't good enough.

Sorry, didn't post this to start another Barton mass murderer but does it matter if he plays for us debate, think we have had enough of those, didn't even cross my mind when I started the thread, and I am a self confessed hypocrite on the subject anyway. anybody with the energy can check the relevant threads to see where we all stand, let's leave it.
Anyway, I hear that Gennaro Gattuso may be available....

So thugery is ok if it does not directly affect us?

This seems so one-eyed to me. Spitting at fans is worse than stubbing out a cigar on a team mate's eyeball?

It all really comes down to the fact that Barton plays for us and so he must be ok, Diouf doesn't and so isn't.
