We need @moreinjuredthanowen to tell us who our B team are. Two for each position......I can’t be @rsed to work it out.
Former Liverpool goalkeeper Scott Carson is reportedly set to join Manchester City in a shock deadline day switch. WithPep Guardiolalooking to add a third-choice goalkeeper to his squad to work with Ederson and Claudio Bravo, it has been reported the 33-year-old could join the Premier League champions.
Allisson / Adrian TAA/Gomez Gomez/Matip VVD/Lovren Robbo/Milner Fabinho/Gini Henderson/AOC Gini/Keita Salah/Shaqiri Firm/Brewster Mane/Origi Hoever & Lala spare. Just need a list now & i'll have my own hashtag
So a B team from line of Brewster, Shaq and Origi City’s B team front line is Jesus, Mahrez, Sane. Don’t even get me started on the full backs, which in our system is a pivotal position. You can all ram this back down my throat if I’m wrong and i’ll happily accept it but imo we’ve made a huge error this window.
I ain't going to ram it down your throat as i have been banging on about proper FB cover from the day the window opened as priority then cover for front 3 .
We are playing a massively risky game, I like hoever as cover, he looks very good but is he ready, Milner at fb is a mistake waiting to happen. It's a huge gamble on fitness and kids stepping up, I hope it pays off.
It’s a huge gamble for sure and we all hope it pays off. I’ve had my whinge, now i’ll Just get behind the team.....this summer seemed to last an age, can’t wait for the new season now.
#calledit 'Juve decided not to sell', code for Spurs wanted them to cut the price as the wages were too high
Adrian Gomez Lovren Matip Hoever Hendo AOC Milner Shaq Brewster Origi Something like that, it's a pretty good 2nd team.
Now put it next to City’s 2nd team. Pretty good doesn’t win titles. We found this out when both Gomez and TAA were injured last year. I know it’s very hard to compare financially, So this is just my frustration venting. Any other time period and we dominates this league. Damn City and Guardiola the batard.
You're right here. We're never going to be able to have a second team of their calibre - we just can't afford it. And even they find some players getting restless through lack of game time, despite the money. If we're going to do it, it'll have to be our way, we can't match theirs.
As always it's a big if, but how satisfying will it be IF we win the league without spending a penny in the market. While city spend millions just to come second.
Maybe, they are both very young though. From the team I posted there are a lot of senior players that will need game time. Also some that could do with less, Gomez is a good example he should be our starting CB so could do with resting him but we don't have a 2nd RB unless we use Hoever there and then we don't have cover for Robbo. I'm sure Klopp knows what he's doing but from a fans point of view we are a couple of players short.
