If Sp*rs sign Ndombele, Lo Celso, Sessegnon and Dybala they have a chance at the title next season IMO. World class signings..
If Woodward failed to get a deal done for Dybala and Spurs end up doing it for cheaper then that has to be the last nail in the colossal ****wit’s coffin. Just take him out the back and shoot him in the face.
Both sides of NL have had very very good transfer windows. I rate ours about an 8/10. Hopefully more news to come.
Really good window for us, especially as we supposedly only had £40m lol. We've strengthened in all the areas we needed to and we've cleared out some deadwood. Really good to finally see our club get it's arse in gear when it comes to transfers.
Is he though? He had the whole world talking a few years ago but he seems to have stalled. I'm not saying he's not good as I simply don't know but the pundits I've seen discussing him this window haven't particularly rated him which makes me wonder what has happened. It's not like he's been pushed out the team as his numbers show how much he's played. It's a strange one tbh.
Net spend thus far is 21.9 m And we've signed 6 players, one of which is worth 80 million. Arsenal and math don't follow simple logic.
As I say mate, I don't get why Juve are so keen to get rid ? Maybe they know something we don't. Like you said, 2-3 years ago he was tearing it up and looked like the hottest prospect in Europe. Don't get me wrong, if he signs for Spurs I hope he turns out to be a massive dud, but I can't help feeling that they are about to pull off a really smart move. £60m for Dybala when Utd have just paid £80m for Slab head Mind you they have just managed to shift Lukaku on for 80m euros
Dybala is a ****ing baller of the highest order, chatting **** cos he’s going to Spurs won’t change that. Form is temporary.
I said it on here a while back about how a £40m budget doesn't necessarily mean you can only buy one £40m player. It got shot down but Piskie knows what he's talking about. As Arsenal have demonstrated, you can buy a £72m player. Pay £10m up front and the rest in instalments. Buy a £25m player, pay £7m up front etc. And there you have it. 5 new players and in this window we've only spent half of our supposed budget
Yeah anything looks cheap next to 80mil for Maguire I'd take the gamble on Dybala but I do find it strange that neither RM, Barca or BM are after him considering they have all needed a rebuild this summer. Also his numbers have literally plummeted recently... with attitude and consistency always being questioned. An odd one for sure. But I'd still personally take him.
People still have a rather quaint view on how the transfer market works. Like you see a player you want, you bring your cash, ring up the bill and walk home with your purchase... i think it's rather more complicated than that.
I've already said mate, I think they are getting a real gem. Do not understand why Juve want to get rid tbh.
No one is saying what Tel is banging on about. He's just upset he's not going to Utd because of finances.... but is going to Spurs lol.
He's frothing. One of Europe's hottest talents choosing Spurs over Utd I say that without any bitterness that he's joining Spurs of course .....
