....failed to beat Napoli on home field in their crucial CL group clash at Eastlands. Do you think this harms their reputation as being the "Best team in Manchester" Do you think this harms their reputation of being the dominant force of world football? Do you thinks this harms that generally held opinion amongst English fans that English clubs are "far superior" to Italian clubs?
Unless you have been living under a rock (or in your case a bridge) for donkeys years you would know we have not got a reputation for being the best team in Manchester. Dominant force in world football, are you having a fecking laugh, it was our first game in the CL in more years than i care to remember, and we were evenly matched. NO ! Next.
Not really. I'm just correcting a schoolboy error. European glory is something that fans take great pride in, and is not something that one should pretend to have in one's history locker, when you don't. As a Spurs fan who is extremely proud of our great European history (Google our achievements and see for your yourself), I can assure you that it's something that sticks with your forever. Perhaps, one day, you might even get to experience something of that glory for yourself
You were correcting the fathers mistake about it being our first game in the CL as if you were a CL regular And we don't need to discuss history with spuds as it's really been done to death and the outcome was that no one gave a flying **** anyway
Well that put me in my place, I should have said since winning the European Cup Winners' Cup many years ago, or maybe it would have been easier to just say feck off.
Well if you take a look at the last few European Cup semi finals of both the U.E.F.A. and the Champions League their hasn't been many Italian clubs their has there. So at the moment the Premier League is better than the Italian League. As this is both Napoli's and Manchester City's 1st game in the Champions League let us wait and see after we have played 3 group games and we have played each team at least once. Then we willbe able to have abetter idea as to who may be coming out of the group games.
