Lukaku did well in his first season, 27 in 51 which kept up his 1 in 2 rate that he’d had with us, it went a bit pear for him last year but he wasn’t alone in that at United. The weight gain didn’t help though, he’s too heavy currently, too much muscle mass, needs to get a stone or so off imo.
Must be a tax on massive body parts this window. An extra £40m for Slab head's massive spam and £40m for Lukaku's fat arse.
Lukaku is like Bent...will get the goals to bump his numbers but they will be goals in useless scenarios plus he lacks the link up play that is essential in the modern day striker
Put him on a diet and in a team that plays balls through and over the top for him and he'd be effective again imo.
