Don't forget about the new rule changes for the 2019/20 season
Here are the changes from the IFAB website on the link below

    https://www.the-ra.org/news/ifab-law-changes-2019-2020

In the subs rule I would have also said no subs to be made with less than 5 mins to play (unless a player is injured)

How do you think they will affect City, which ones do you think will be to our benefit and which ones won't be?

I don't think the handball rule changes have made it any easier to implement. So many 'what ifs' that it will still be very easily open to interpretation. I really think it should be simply - if it touches your hand or lower arm it's a foul. Then everyone knows where they stand.

Kenny McLean on whether our squad is good enough for the PL:

"The thing is here that everybody is good enough to play, that's the big thing, we've got 22 in the squad who are good enough for that starting jersey. It's a great headache for the manager to have, picking that starting team. I'm sure it will be a tough decision but whoever is picked, I'm sure the ones who aren't involved will push the boys. And that brings the best out of the ones in the jersey because you know if you have an off day, if you don't work as hard during the week, then there is someone there waiting to take that position, which is excellent."

It also means that if any player is injured, an equally good replacement is waiting to come on, as was shown last season.

Not really a surprise. Although most of the feedback I get from supporters is through here and YouTube, I see no hint of any discontent any more and as much willingness to accept a rough season as I have ever seen before. This may be because of the style of football being played this time round. Perhaps after a few relegation experiences, supporters are beginning to manage their expectations a little better.

If we can avoid too many severe tonkings and maybe sneak the odd cheeky win at places like Palace, Burnley, Watford, it (the feelgood factor) may well last - here's hoping <ok>
Trouble is football fans, not just NCFC, are extremely fickle - a 0 - 5 or similar and doubts start to creep in.
As has been mentioned (often!), the last three games Norwich played against PL opposition , Arsenal, Chelsea and Bournemouth, we gave a damned fine account of ourselves - no reason we can't pick up where we left off.

It pretty much goes without saying that we are very likely to be on the receiving end of a heavy defeat occasionally. If Citeh can beat Chelsea 6-0 was it, I'd be very happy if we could keep it to 0-4 when they come to CR in a few weeks time.

    Cough cough Cardiff!

Your point stands as we beat them 3-1. However I'm not sure these 4 games tell us too much. In Farkes first season he went close to full strength for the cup games vs Chelsea and Arse but they certainly did not. Had they have fielded stronger sides perhaps it could have been different. They were good performances no doubt but I'm not sure we can read too much into them.
We have also of course got significantly better since playing those two, two seasons back, so I remain cautiously optimistic that we can upset almost anyone in the PL on our day.

    Bah!

Well, several years ago I know, but if a 'cautious' Hughton-led team can beat Arsenal and
Manchester United in the league, there's no reason on earth why a Farke side can't!
Talk about a polar opposite in squad mentality! <yikes>
