You usually see them saying hello, a nodd, or perhaps the odd photo at a festival. I'm cool with that if they're not too busy. Just think if they want to be respected at all they should draw the line if they want to be taken seriously. Friendly but professional I think is more than enough.

Most cozzers are **** dancers so you may have a point there. Maybe they should audition them first, make sure there's no Peter Crouch style robo-cops.
I think it does command more respect if they are engaging with the community rather than being little Hitlers. That's why I made @Tobes up as mod, he loves a bit of jiggery pokery too
